What is WalletIQ?

WalletIQ is an on-chain wallet security diagnostic tool. Input any Ethereum address to receive a comprehensive security report covering token approvals, token safety, and address reputation. Our mission is simple: Diagnose. Fix. Protect.

How It Works

1. Approval Scanning: We fetch historical ERC20 Approval events from Etherscan, verify current on-chain allowances via multicall, and cross-reference spender addresses against GoPlus security databases and our known-protocol whitelist.

2. Token Security: Token balances are fetched via Alchemy, then batch-checked against GoPlus for honeypot detection, tax analysis, mint risk, and more.

3. Address Reputation: GoPlus checks whether the address has been flagged for phishing, sanctions, money laundering, or other malicious activity.

4. Security Score: Three dimension scores (Approval 50%, Asset 30%, Reputation 20%) are combined into an overall score from 0 to 100.

Limitations

MVP covers Ethereum Mainnet and ERC20 tokens only
ERC721/ERC1155 (NFT) approvals are not yet covered
Off-chain signature-based approvals (EIP-2612 Permit) cannot be detected on-chain
Permit2 sub-approvals (SignatureTransfer) are not covered — only the ERC20-level approval to Permit2 is checked
GoPlus security data may have false positives or lag behind new threats

Privacy

WalletIQ does not collect personal data, store private keys, or require user registration. All data analyzed is publicly available on-chain. API results are cached temporarily (10-30 minutes) for performance.
